Christmas Banner Design Challenge

Digital literacy is an increasingly important aspect of children’s education so we are always looking for ways to integrate ‘digital working’ into the curriculum. With this in mind we recently challenged some Yr10 pupils to design a Christmas themed banner for our school website. The creative talent on show was superb with pupils submitting lots of great designs. We have chosen the three best designs and we can reveal that they were created by Cadeyrn Davison, Kia Sambrook and Luke Lewis. Their designs will be revealed on Tuesday 1st, 8th and 15th of December when they will be published to the school website so keep a look out!

Congratulations to Cadeyrn, Kia and Luke, and a big thank you to our graphics teacher Mrs K Thomas for helping organise the challenge. Pupils involved thoroughly enjoyed the challenge which has given them valuable experience of designing for real-world applications. We will be looking for more ways to give our pupils moderated editorial input to the school website in future so their hard work can be publically recognised.
